Remember that post that told unknowing peeps on Tumblr and the rest of the internet about the names of the different types of head coverings Muslim women wear? No? Well here is basically the same thing only I drew it. And here’s a link to the post.

My grandmother did Shayla. A loooot of women at my masjid do hijab, shayla, or niqab. I might do shayla or hijab later on in life.

I used to wear khimar first, then al-amira, then hijab and shayla (switched between the two). Experimented with niqab too.

These days, I wear none of the above.
